Our Supported Employment Services are geared towards helping individuals not only find work, but find work they want to do regardless of how significant your disability. We provide job placement, job training, and offer ongoing assistance to help you maintain employment. We advocate for competitive wages, transportation, and your rights as a worker. Career counseling is also available to ensure you are, where you want to be, and doing the job you want to do! We value social integration and support from the family, community, and employers.
Overview and goals of Supported Employment Services:
- Find fulfilling work regardless of disability
- Work for pay at the same rate as other employees
- Promote a positive, productive work environment by maximizing your skills and encouraging social integration
- Offer assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities, severe and/or persistent mental illness, or other disabilities
- Assist with job coaching and training
- Introduced customers to community leaders and employers in the community
- Job analyst working one-on-one with customers
