Supported Employment Services

Our Supported Employment Services are geared towards helping individuals not only find work, but find work they want to do regardless of how significant your disability. We provide job placement, job training, and offer ongoing assistance to help you maintain employment. We advocate for competitive wages, transportation, and your rights as a worker. Career counseling is also available to ensure you are, where you want to be, and doing the job you want to do! We value social integration and support from the family, community, and employers.

Overview and goals of Supported Employment Services:

  • Offer assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities, severe and/or persistent mental illness, or other disabilities

Follow Along Services

Phase Two of our job placement strategy is our Follow Along Service. After we have assisted you in finding a job that meets your requirements we continue to provide support. This includes advocating on your behalf for more hours and higher wages, writing P.A.S.S. plans for people on the waiting list for coaching services, and reporting employee wages accurately to Social Security to ensure you are compensated fairly. We also use the IRWE (Impairment Related Work Expenses) program to assist you in maintaining the financial stability to work. And if you are unhappy at your current job we have placed you at, we are happy to provide retraining services to help guide you to new possibilities.

Micro Enterprise Development

If you are unable to work in a traditional job due to your disability, or prefer working independently, or if you would like to add supplemental income, we provide assistance for microenterprise development. Not only do we assist with researching ideas for a business, but also with outlining and developing a business plan, providing marketing ideas, management training, bookkeeping, making financial projections, finding funding, and we offer support through counseling to help you maintain your business. We also providing technical assistance to overcome any “speed-bumps” you may encounter.

Social Security Assistance

We provide non-attorney social security representative services. The chances of an individual winning a Social Security Disability claim are much higher with an advocate. This service is available regionally across the southeast. We offer free consultation over the phone, via email, or in person at our office in Panama City. We have a 20% fee for any successful payout from your case, and charge nothing if your case is not resolved with financial compensation for you.

Fund Raising

Fun and variety is the focus of our fundraising services. We provide maximum exposure and have been featured on local news. Our events include, but are not limited to: wheelchair basketball, car washes, garage sales, raffles, 5k, auction, and more!
